During my education as an electrial engineer, at West Virginia University, I met my wife Linda. Linda, from the time we met wanted to become a dentist. Through her influence, I became interested in dentistry and the rest is history. I did achieve my BS degree in electrical engineering and worked for a short time for Consolidation Coal. Graduated Magna Cum Laude.
I attended dental school at West Virginia University and graduated in 1982, being accepted in the dental honor society of Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Together with Linda, we began a private general dental practice in 1981 in Baden, Pennsylvania. My early days in dentistry, I served various chairs in the Dental Society of Western Pennsylvania.
In 1994, I was invited to join the Academy of General Dentistry and the PEAK III group. The rest is history. In 1997 I was asked to join the PAGD Board of Directors. Since then, I have served both the PAGD and AGD and currently remain active.
